Who, What, Where.... Why

Maybe you've seen a scene that is just spinning... going nowhere. The improvisers know it and the audience is starting to get bored. More than likely they missed establishing the basics early on - who, what, and where. Notice that why is always last and least important when on stage. That is because the why just naturally happens once the foundation of the scene is in place. Similarly in life if you can get a good handle on who you want to be, what you want to be doing, and where you are... then you won't have to question why.
