Present in the Moment

When improv performers are on stage; it is vitally important that they stay present in the moment. What happened right before in the scene has quickly become the past and there is no way of knowing what comes next in the plot... because after all they are improvising as they go! The best way to stay present on stage is to make a connection to your scene partner and commit to what you are doing. Similarly, in life it's important to enjoy every moment. To foster good relationships and love what you do. So many "tips & tricks" taught during improv training transcend into just plan good life lessons. This blog will be a place to capture to depth of the training and use it to not only improve my performance on stage but more importantly off as I continually try to improv myself.
